Leadership and Advocacy

Librarians must advocate to ensure that the library has something for everyone. Joining leadership committees and attending department meetings at school gives them insight into what is needed and how they can help. Additionally, reaching out to businesses in the community and inviting them to visit shows initiative and helps strengthen the sense of community. 
I am an advocate for kindness and believe it is important to recognize and show appreciation for students, teachers, administrators, and all staff members. Below, I have included a presentation I made for my administrators.
