First Year Road Map

Once I have my own library, I plan to identify the needs of my library and learners. With those goals in mind, I can reach out to stakeholders (whether they are administrators, School Board Members, or others in the community) and prepare a presentation or flyers to advocate for what is needed and provide justification if necessary. 

 

When it comes to the community, I will reach out to local business owners, and others to not only promote the library, but to invite them to come visit. I would like to have a Career Day or ask them if they want to come in and share a memory they have of their library days. For my older students, I could also ask about possible volunteering opportunities for them.
